WINDSOR, England --- Assurant Solutions, a global provider of specialised insurance and insurance-related products, announces the appointment of three new senior managers to lead operations, finance and marketing for its European businesses.
Ian Moffatt, president and CEO for Europe, said the appointments come as a result of a new centralised operating structure, which will link the central management functions of its businesses in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Italy. The new European management team consists of Marko Böttger as chief operating officer, Martin Pringle as chief financial officer and Martin Jenns as chief marketing officer. All will report to Moffatt.
Marko Böttger has been with Assurant Solutions since 2006 and was formerly director for operations and information technology for Assurant Solutions in Germany. Marko is responsible for establishing a multi-lingual European Centre of Excellence for Operations in Cork, Ireland. Prior to joining Assurant, he worked for GE Financial Insurance and Genworth Financial Ireland.
Martin Pringle moves into his new post from his role as chief financial officer for Assurant Solutions in the UK and Ireland. A chartered accountant with over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Martin joined Assurant Solutions in 2007. Prior to which, he spent 12 years at Lloyds TSB fulfilling a number of senior risk management roles including head of financial risk management at Scottish Widows.
Completing the new senior team, Chief Marketing Officer Martin Jenns will be responsible for centralising the European sales and marketing function across the European businesses. Having started his career as Southeastern Division Vice President with AXA Advisors in the United States, Martin joined Assurant Solutions in 2003. During which time he has held a number of senior management posts including senior vice president for Assurant International Wireless.
